Detailed Description

Mode 2 Formed (Form1 or Form2) Sub-header structure.

Two copies of the Mode 2 sub-header are stored in the first 8 bytes of every Mode2 Form1 or Mode2 Form2 (also known as Mode2 Formed) sectors.

The sub-header keeps information about the sector type and the type of data stored in the sector.

Mode 2 sectors are used primarily in Video CD (VCD) and Super Video CD ((S)VCD) applications but also could be used to store any kind of data.
